问:我正在进行选品阶段,读到有些文章建议选品时要开阔选品思路,而在另外一些文章里则讲到亚马逊的运营要讲究精品化打造,这样的话,二者岂不是矛盾呢?
答:在亚马逊店铺运营的过程中,因为平台“重Listing,轻店铺”的特点,要求卖家必须对产品精挑细选并全力打造才行,想打造出销量好的爆款产品,必须投入巨大的精力,而任何一个卖家精力都有限,资源也有限,所以不可能做到铺货的模式还能把所铺的货物都卖得很好的情况,这就要求卖家在运营中必须精品化运营。但虽然运营讲究精品化,并不意味着选品不可以开阔思路,开阔的思路可以让卖家接触更多的产品,发掘出更多优势产品,并对这些产品进行深度分析,然后优中择优的方式,选择出具有爆款潜质的产品。可以说,只有思路足够开阔,挑选出爆款的几率才会更高一些。
问:选品过程中,我会搜索查看很多的产品,也会查看很多的店铺,可还是不知道该如何界定“市场容量足够大”这个定义,你是如何看待的呢?
答:关于市场容量的大与小,其实是一个相对的概念。所谓的市场容量足够大,更多的是指不要选择太过于偏冷门的产品。一般而言,只要一个产品存在一定的消费者基数,同时现有卖家中有多个不同的卖家都有着不错的销量,那么这类产品都可以说是有市场容量的产品。在对待市场容量这个问题上,卖家要和竞争热度结合起来看待才好。不能单纯的认为品质越高越好,品质 终要回归到和价格的匹配一致。根据自己的售价,评估消费者的预期,提供等于或者高于消费者预期的产品即可。在实际运营中,在考虑品质的同时,一定不能忘了价格和利润,从商业的角度上看,后者更重要。

答:之所以很多卖家在运营中会想方设法注册多个账号,原因在于担心作为第三方卖家,在经营过程中遭遇不可控因素导致账号被关闭而引发的经营风险,但就正常的运营来说,并不是每个卖家都需要多个账号的。对于一个新卖家来说,能够把一个账号运营好,就可以取得不错的业绩,准备的账号再多,如果没有用心运营,也没有太大的意义。当前亚马逊平台注册收紧,即便注册不了多个账号,也无需担心,先把手头上的账号做好就是了。
